About the network
MPI Asian Network was established in 2018 to provide a forum for staff at MPI to hear, speak, and learn from an Asian ethnic perspective. Our network’s priorities for 2023-2024 are:
- working with other networks across MPI to raise awareness and understanding of Asian culture
- increasing and maintaining the visibility of Asian
- providing a platform for Asian network members to connect and foster a sense of community
- supporting MPI’s efforts to create a positive, safe, and inclusive workplace
- encourage and support Asian network members' career aspirations, and
- focusing on resources, events, and initiatives to support Asian network members growth and development within MPI.
Events and activities
- culture significance celebrations: Diwali (November 2023) and Lunar New Year (February 2024)
- Annual General Meeting (January 2024)
- aspire lounge: where you listen to success stories from guest speakers and connect with other network members at lunch time
- social events.
How you can get involved
We welcome everyone at MPI to be our members, whether or not of Asian ethnicity.
There is no obligation to do anything, the network is a place for you to hear, speak, and learn from an Asian ethnic perspective. All degree of participation is welcomed.
